International Women's Day celebration at the community center
On the occasion of International Women's Day, we prepared a joint gathering in the community center thanks to the Norwegian project for those women who regularly participate in project activities.
In our community kitchen, we baked cakes and cupcakes for them and prepared other goodies. We welcomed them in the common room, where we gave each woman a chocolate instead of a flower. What was nice about our meeting was that women from various group activities came together here - reading, cooking, sewing, exercise, who would not otherwise have time to meet and talk.
They were pleased with our invitation, they felt comfortable, some of them even danced. And most importantly, they had a little break from their household duties.
